I stayed at Villa Alba for just over a week in July 2024. From the minute I entered the villa I felt relaxed, the villa has such stunning architecture and the grounds and views are beautiful of the local trees, rice fields and local wildlife. The communal areas are well thought out, beautifully decorated and the pool provided a welcome place to relax. All of the staff at Villa Alba were super helpful throughout my stay, providing delicious meals, drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend the Sri Lankan curries and hoppers for breakfast! It was great having the villa arrange all of the transport during my stay, it made it easy to take any day trips (although it was hard to tear myself away from the villa!).

We had a truly wonderful experience at Villa Alba. From arrival to check out the staff were attentive to our every need, arranging transport, day trips (of which there are many to choose from) and exquisite meals.
Rooms are very spacious, with attention to detail in decor, amenities and comfort. Each room has remarkable views of the surrounding landscape - brilliant green paddy fields and local flora and fauna surround the villa.
We spent sunny mornings lounging by the infinity pool, watching the local wildlife. The menu is varied and caters to western and local tastes. The poolside snacks were fabulous and Chef Krishan's rice and curry was such a hit we ordered it multiple times.

I stayed for a week with my two adult daughters in July 2024. The stay was the perfect way to wind down after a busy working period.  The setting in the lush green rice paddies, architecture of the Villa and design of the shared areas and spacious rooms is just exquisite. The staff at Villa Alba could not do enough for us, whether that be cooking us delicious meals, arranging transport and day trips or checking on us to provide drinks to keep us hydrated whilst we lazed by the beautiful pool and watched the monkeys in the trees. My elder daughter is quite a fussy eater but the chefs at Alba accommodated her every request. We had an excursion to the tea plantation, the town of Galle and the safari elephant sanctuary arranged for us and every detail was taken care of including a packed breakfast for our very early departure to the elephant sanctuary. What a great beautiful hotel, and what super good service. I would recommend everyone to come here, even when we didn't stay in this hotel anymore all our questions were answered immediately. Also the food is a 10 out of a 10!

The experience at villa alba was of the highest quality, the boutique is surrounded by nature with beautiful rooms and a pool. I am happier when I leave from here than when I came. This place is amazing. Calm, quiet. Beautiful surroundings and above all beautiful staff. Special thank goes to Kalana and Sampath (therapist). Kalana takes care of you from your arrival. He alway has a sweet smile on his face and very friendly. Sampath was our therapist and he did an amazing job with our full body massage. Loved every second of it. Highly recommended.
Our room was beautiful with an outdoor bathroom which we loved. Balcony overlooking the garden and the paddy field. The breeze that comes through the garden is to die for.
Most of their vegetables and fruits harvested from their own garden. Chef Krishan is very creative with his menu and perfectly executed food.
